Donald Trump is facing a new storm of criticism after he once said he needed “the kind of generals Adolf Hitler had.”

“I need the kind of generals Hitler had,” the Republican presidential candidate reportedly declared The Atlantic. “People who were completely loyal to him, following orders.”

The claim was vehemently denied by Trump's campaign team.

Trump's former chief of staff John Kelly also told the story The New York Times that the former president repeatedly praised Hitler and warned that the GOP candidate met the definition of a fascist.

Meanwhile, Trump's predecessor Barack Obama was joined on stage by Eminem on Tuesday as they campaigned for Kamala Harris in Detroit, Michigan.

The rapper introduced Obama, who returned the favor by reciting the lyrics to “Lose Yourself.”

Harris took part in an interview with NBC News that aired Tuesday evening. On Wednesday, she will join Anderson Cooper at a CNN town hall in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, while Trump campaigns in Georgia and JD Vance visits Nevada.

Trump also reportedly stated that “it doesn't cost $60,000 to bury a damn Mexican” after receiving the bill for a murdered soldier's funeral, which he had previously offered to pay.

Vanessa Guillen, a 20-year-old Army soldier, was bludgeoned to death by a fellow soldier at Fort Hood in Texas in April 2020 and her burned remains were not discovered until two months later.

After the tragic incident, Trump invited Guillen's family to the White House, where he described the young woman as a “spectacular person” and said he could help the family “financially” and with organizing the funeral.

However, Trump reportedly flew into a rage at a meeting in December 2020 after he was presented with the bill for her funeral.

Barack Obama wowed the crowd by singing a popular Eminem song at a rally in Detroit in support of Kamala Harris. “I felt like I was kind of following Eminem,” Obama admitted before launching into the rapper's lyrics on Tuesday night (October 22). The former US president continued: “Now I realized that my palms are sweaty, my knees are weak, my arms are heavy, there's already vomit on my sweater, mom's spaghetti.” The audience started cheering when they realized , that Obama rapped to Eminem's hit “Lose Yourself.” Obama then continued the song and spoke the beat into the microphone.

Donald Trump reportedly said he needed 'the kind of generals Hitler had'

The Republican presidential candidate is facing a new storm of criticism after it was reported that he once said he needed “the kind of generals Adolf Hitler had,” a new report says The Atlantic citing two people who claim to have heard him say that at the White House.

“I need the kind of generals Hitler had,” Trump reportedly declared.

“People who were completely loyal to him, following orders.”

The claim was vehemently denied by Trump's campaign, but comes on the heels of his former chief of staff John Kelly's statement to The New York Times that the former president meets the definition of a fascist and will rule as a dictator if re-elected.
