76ers player wants NBA fans to see his 'elite' game

76ers player wants NBA fans to see his 'elite' game

Over the summer, the Philadelphia 76ers offered former Boston Celtics forward Guerschon Yabusele a second chance in the NBA.

After opting out of his contract with Real Madrid, Yabusele moved to the Sixers to compete for a possible role as the team's backup power forward. Yabusele gained consistent playing time early on.

As a result, the veteran striker has put in “elite” performances in hectic games, it is said Rights to Ricky Sanchez Mike O'Connor. Yabusele reposted the statement on X, showing NBA fans what he brings to the 76ers.

@MOConnor_NBA: His performance in the hustle play department was elite. Obviously very early, but he's second in the league in recovering loose balls.

A player who can consistently grab rebounds and is willing to make quick plays is exactly what the Sixers needed after struggling in the playoffs against the New York Knicks this spring.

Against the Indiana Pacers, Yabusele's shot didn't fall as he went 0-for-4 from the field, but he was active on the glass and collected six rebounds. He also managed a steal on defense.

Overall, Yabusele's three-game run with the Sixers went well. He averages six points per 20 minutes while shooting 39 percent from the field. He also provided three assists per game.

Defensively, Yabusele collected five rebounds per game. He also averages more than one steal per game.

There is a possibility that Yabusele could see a decline in minutes if the Sixers bring two of their starters back into the game. While that is likely to be the case, Yabusele's promising early stages should be enough to keep him consistently on the ground as the season progresses.
