BRONX, NY – The Fordham University Rams continue the 2024 season, Fordham's 124th varsity season, by hosting the Colgate University Raiders in a Patriot League contest at Moglia Stadium on Saturday, November 2nd at 1:00 p.m


Saturday's game is Fordham's Salute to Service Game. The first 500 students will receive a free exclusive Fordham camouflage hat.


The game will be broadcast live on SNY and streamed on ESPN+ with Andrew Bogusch (pbp) and Grant DelVecchio (analyst) calling, and live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and wfuvsports.org with Lou Orlando (pbp) and Evan Harkin (analyst) transferred. Completion of announcement tasks.


Fordham enters the game with an overall record of 0-8, 0-3 in the Patriot League following a 33-19 loss in the Patriot League last Saturday at Lehigh, while Colgate has an overall record of 2-6, 1-1 in the Patriot League, Patriot League enters the competition after a 51-17 non-conference loss last week at Merrimack.

A few notes about the game:


• The Fordham Rams have thrown the second-most touchdown passes of any NCAA FCS school over the past three years.


• The Rams had a school-record 58 targets in 2022 (56 of them by Tim DeMorat, who set a school and Patriot League record) and had 26 from the quarterback CJ Montes last year, and this year there were four, for a total of 88.


• Fordham senior linebacker James Conway has 417 total tackles, second on the Fordham career list. He's only missing eight tackles Ryan Greenhagenis Fordham's career record.


• Conway was named this week a finalist for the FedEx Doris Robinson Award, an award that honors an FCS student-athlete who demonstrates excellence on the field, in the classroom and in the community at large.


• Fordham senior running back Julius Loughridgewho rushed for more than 100 yards twice this year, has 2,695 career rushing yards, placing him sixth on the Fordham all-time rushing list.


• Loughridge also has 24 career rushing touchdowns, which ranks eighth all-time for the Rams.


• Student defensive back Nahil Perkins ranks third in the NCAA FCS in passes defended with an average of 1.5 per game.


• Freshman kicker Bennett Henderson has converted his last five field goal attempts, three of which went beyond 40 yards, and has now converted seven of his nine three-point attempts this year.


• Henderson ranks third in the Patriot League in field goals made per game (0.9) and second in field goal percentage (77.8%).


• Fordham senior linebacker James ConwaySenior defensive lineman Matt Jaworskiand junior quarterback CJ Montes were named to the 2024 Stats Perform FCS Preseason All-America Team.


• Fordham will be represented by six captains in 2024: Senior defensive lineman Matt JaworskiStudent wide receiver Mekai FeltonOffensive linemen for graduate students Ryan Joyce (serving as captain for the second consecutive year), sophomore defensive back Nahil Perkinsand linebacker for graduate students Mike Courtney.


• Two former Fordham football Rams are currently on NFL rosters. Run back Chase Edmondswho was drafted in the fourth round by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2018 draft, is a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but will miss the 2024 season due to an injury as an offensive lineman Nick Zakeljwho was selected in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft by San Francisco and is entering his third year with the 49ers.
