USC Trojans vs. Washington Huskies

USC Trojans vs. Washington Huskies

The USC Trojans (4-4, 2-4 Big Ten) travel to the Pacific Northwest to face the Washington Huskies (4-4, 2-3) in the 82nd meeting between these two programs in a series that dates back to 1923. USC hasn't won in Seattle since its upset win over No. 4 Washington in 2016.

“They were a really good home team,” USC coach Lincoln Riley said. “It’s a place where I’ve never had the chance to actually be at a game. I know there will be a good atmosphere and a good environment, so something we're looking for and obviously we have to play well and build some momentum with the way we handled it last week and Self-confidence.”

USC announced its captains as quarterback Miller Moss, defensive end Devan Thompkins, linebacker Mason Cobb and offensive lineman Emmanuel Pregnon.

The longtime Pac-12 rivals faced off in a shootout at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum last season, with the Huskies coming out on top 52-42.

The Trojans ended a three-game losing streak last Friday when they defeated the Rutgers Scarlet Knights 42-20. Quarterback Miller Moss had his first turnover-free game since Week 2, running back Woody Marks scored three rushing touchdowns, a career-high, receiver Makai Lemon racked up a career-high 134 receiving yards and the defense recorded four sacks, a career-high.

USC played its first complete game in all four quarters in the Big Ten and will look to build on that momentum as the calendar turns to November. The Trojans are still in contention for bowl eligibility with four games remaining in the final month of the regular season.

Washington has lost each of its last two games since an upset win over the Michigan Wolverines on Oct. 5. The Huskies are 4-1 at home this season.

Both programs have experienced their fair share of adversity in their first season as members of the Big Ten Conference heading into this crucial matchup.

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Trojans are the away favorite by 2.5 points. USC is 0-3 on the road this season. Can the Trojans overcome their adversity and win their first road game of the season?

Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. PT and will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network.
