What you need to know: MNUFC vs Real Salt Lake

Game Central

Playoffs presented by Allianz, Allina Health, Target and Federated Insurance

Game 1 against Real Salt Lake was unforgettable. While there was little action in front of either goal in the first half, the second half was full of excellent opportunities that forced both goalkeepers to stand on their heads to ensure the game remained goalless at the end of normal time . Both teams went four-for-five in the shootout, with Jefferson Díaz securing the sudden death victory by scoring the sixth shot, while RSL's Braian Ojeda hit the crossbar. Now the Loons will look to complete the best of three series this Saturday at home at Allianz Field. Even though the Loons are at their best this season, it is important to remember how close Tuesday night's game in the mountains really was and how close the competition with RSL has been for years. The last four regular season games between Minnesota and Salt Lake all ended in draws, with the Loons' last regular season win against Salt Lake coming in July 2022. Now, with Salt Lake's season on the line, they'll certainly be refocused and ready to win. To watch all the playoff action in person, get your tickets now at SeatGeek.com. Can't come to Allianz Field? No problem; There are many ways to watch. Meet your loyal fans at a Loons Watch Spot for food, drinks and an entertaining soccer experience, stream the game with Apple TV's MLS Season Pass or listen to either 1500 ESPN or SiriusXM FC: Channel 157.
