San Francisco Giants infielder Wilmer Flores exercised his $3.5 million player option for 2025 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, left-hander Robbie Ray chose not to opt out of his five-year, $115 million contract. He is owed $50 million for the last two seasons.

The 33-year-old Flores batted just .206 with four home runs and 26 RBIs in 71 games in an injury-plagued season in 2024. He did not play after July 23 and underwent knee surgery on August 6.

In 2023, he hit .284 with a career-best 23 home runs and 60 RBIs for San Francisco.

Overall, Flores has a .260 average with 153 home runs and 532 RBIs in 12 seasons with the New York Mets (2013-18), Arizona Diamondbacks (2019) and San Francisco Giants (2020-24).

Ray made just seven starts last season due to injury and posted a 3-2 record with a 4.70 ERA.

Ray, 33, made his season debut on July 24 after recovering from Tommy John surgery. His last start was on August 25, when he suffered a left hamstring strain and missed the rest of the season.
