Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets injury reports

Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets injury reports

The Houston Rockets host the Golden State Warriors in Texas on Saturday evening.

Both teams have announced their injury reports for the game (updated at 2:30 a.m. Eastern Time).

The Warriors have ruled out Steph Curry and De'Anthony Melton.

Brandin Podziekmsi is available while Andrew Wiggins is likely.

However, Steve Kerr has already stated that Wiggins will be in the starting lineup.

Via Sam Gordon of The San Francisco Chronicle on Friday: “Kerr emphasized that the Warriors are proceeding cautiously with De'Anthony Melton's strained back, as Melton played in just 33 games with the Philadelphia 76ers last season due to his back problems. Kerr also confirmed that Andrew Wiggins will start against the Rockets on Saturday.”

Meanwhile, the Rockets will be without Steven Adams, N'Faly Dante, Jack McVeigh and Nate Williams.
