It's not immediately clear what he meant by his comments, although it certainly seems like he was trying to be funny by suggesting that an 83-year-old woman shouldn't be able to compete with him in a track and field competition to keep up over the middle distance, or something like that. An alleged previous disagreement between him and Stewart caused her such irritation that she pursued him for over a mile. Regardless, he essentially agrees with her.

Stewart had given her opinion on this Red notice Star as a guest at Bilt Rewards Rent free Game show. When asked to list celebrities people think would be fun to spend time with, the hotel mogul assumed Reynolds would be a popular answer – though not without noticing that he has that reputation not deserved.

“He's probably only on the list because he covers up in his films and you can't see his face,” she said. “And you want to know something? He’s not that funny in real life.”

She repeated, “No, he’s not that funny. He's very serious.” However, Stewart admitted that Reynolds knows how to incorporate funny mannerisms into his work. “He’s a good actor,” she said. “He can be funny, but he’s not funny. Maybe he can be funny again.”

Stewart knew her comments could cause a stir. “I’m going to get in trouble,” she said. “He's my neighbor.” In fact, Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively own a home near Stewart's farm in Bedford, NY

When asked for her personal pick of celebs she'd chill with, Stewart suggested a Reynolds-free list. “George Clooney because he’s fun. It’s really nice hanging out with George,” she said. Stewart also said that “Taylor Swift is wonderful” and that Brad Pitt and her pal Snoop Dogg would be on her list. “I would take Ryan away and put someone else in.”

Stewart is the subject of Netflix's exciting new documentary project Martha, But she doesn't keep quiet about her problems with the film. “I hate those final scenes,” she said The New York Times on the day of the film's premiere, referring to moments in which she “looked like a lonely old lady walking hunched over in the garden.”

Stewart also said the film placed too much emphasis on her trial and the five months she served in prison after being charged with obstruction of justice in the early 2000s. “It wasn’t that important,” she said. “The trial and actual incarceration took less than two years of an 83-year-old life. To be honest, I viewed it as a vacation… the process itself was extremely boring.”
