Fans and celebrities gather for the annual Rhode Island Comic Con

Lights, camera, providence!

Pop culture fanatics from across the region and country headed to Providence for Rhode Island Comic Con 2024.

“I can say Rhode Island is the best Comic-Con ever,” Henry Beldon, better known as the voice of Morty Smith from “Rick and Morty,” told NBC10.

“Rick loves being at Rhode Island Comic Con,” added Ian Cardoni, Beldon’s co-star on “Rick and Morty.”

This year's event features some of Hollywood's biggest names.

“Our business doesn’t involve one-on-one meetings,” explained Breaking Bad’s Steven Michael Quezada. “At Comic Con we can shake people’s hands and thank them for being fans.”

The stars shine in their smallest state.

“This is a massive show. “I can’t believe she’s so big, but everyone was so incredibly nice,” said Mara Wilson, star of the 1996 classic “Matilda.”

Familiar faces from your favorite cult classics, blockbusters and primetime television shows gather at the Rhode Island Convention Center for Comic Con 2024.

“It's going great!” Breaking Bad's Dean Norris continued. “I love it here. I love Providence.”

Among the guests at this year's Comic Con: actor David Arquette (“Scream” franchise), actor Ernie Hudson (“Ghostbusters”), actor Giancarlo Esposito (“Breaking Bad”), actress Helen Hunt (“As Good as It Gets”) ” and “Mad About You”), comedian John Cleese (“Monty Python”), dancer and influencer JoJo Siwa, actor Matthew Lillard (“Scream” and “Scooby Doo”), actor Skeet Ulrich (“Scream” and ” Riverdale”) and actor William Shatner (“Star Trek”).

The three-day event has attracted thousands of superfans, with many attendees dressed head to toe in costume.

Hours of preparation and dedication, all on display to pay homage to some of the greatest screen characters of this generation.

“I've spent my entire career imagining Blue's Clues,” concluded Steve Burns of the original Blue's Clues series. “But now I get to know you, and that is uniquely wonderful for me.”

The closing night of Rhode Island Comic Con is Sunday, November 3rd.
