LITTLE CHUTE, Wis. (WBAY) – Vice President Kamala Harris made several stops in Wisconsin on Friday, including one in the Fox Valley.

Shortly after Vice President Kamala Harris stepped off the plane at Austin Straubel International Airport, she gave a quick wave and then off to the rally at Little Chute High School.

Where a raucous crowd of supporters waited to hear one of their final messages to Wisconsinites before Tuesday's election. That's why Terri Grasser came from Plover.

“It's a historic moment, we've never had a woman run for president who looked like she had a chance to lead us,” Grasser said.

Andrew Siebers of Appleton was also in the audience.

“Wanted to be part of history,” he said.

For Rebecca Stephens of Stevens Point, it's the issues that brought her to the rally.

“I looked at the work she did on reproductive rights last year before she took office prematurely. “I was really impressed with her work in this area, and when she became a presidential candidate, I fully supported her,” Stephens said.

Kamala Harris made a promise to Wisconsin voters Friday night: She says she will stop price gouging at grocery stores, ensure Americans have homes and cover home care through Medicare.

“So you don’t have to worry about spending your savings needed to qualify or quitting your job and losing your source of income,” Harris said.

This event was an election event. Harris was surprised by the number of people in the crowd who had already voted early.

So far, more than a million Wisconsin residents have voted by mail. Harris completed that 2,000-person event and flew to a 12,000-person event in Milwaukee where there was a final event and concert.

“We need everyone in Wisconsin to vote. You will make the difference in this election…You will make the difference…You will make the difference,” Harris said.

This was Harris' ninth stop in the state since becoming a presidential candidate. She will spend her remaining campaign days in other battleground states and travel to Atlanta and Charlotte on Saturday, this final weekend before Election Day.

Former President Trump also made comments on Friday evening at the Fiserv Forum, less than seven miles from where Vice President Harris ended her Friday campaign.
