'SNL' Musical Guest Bowen Yang Ends Feud Rumors After Parody Drama

It looks like this Saturday Night Live Star Bowen Yang and singer Chappell Roan are casual Now.

Weeks after Yang performed an SNL skit that fans viewed as a mockery of the singer's mental health, Yang and the musician dispelled rumors of a falling out and held hands on Saturday's episode.

In September, Yang played internet sensation and pygmy hippo Moo Deng and discussed the struggles of fame in an SNL skit.

“It's gotten to the point where I need to set some boundaries. Reminder: Women don’t owe you anything,” Yang said. “If I’m in my enclosure, tripping over things or biting the trainer’s knee, I’m at work.”

The sketch appeared to be a nod to Roan's Instagram Stories days ago in which she wanted to set boundaries with her fan base.

“Things have become overwhelming over the last few weeks and I'm really feeling it,” she said in the post. “I'm feeling pressure to prioritize a lot of things at the moment and I need a few days to prioritize my health. I want to be present at my performances and give the best show possible. Thank you for your understanding.”

Many viewed the sketch as a dig at Roan's mental health, which Yang denied on his Instagram. “Everything she's ever asked for has been reasonable and even then we can tie it into another story about boundaries or whatever,” he posted.

However, the two didn't seem to have any bad blood and were holding hands at the end of the latest SNL episode, where Roan was the musical guest.

The star-studded episode was hosted by John Mulaney, while Democratic candidate Kamala Harris made a surprise visit just before the election.

Yang and Roan hugged each other tightly and were seen holding and talking to each other as the credits rolled.
