Likely formations: Hellas Verona vs. AS Roma

“We will see how Dovbyk is in training today and then we will decide. The others feel the same way. I need to see who has recovered well and who hasn't. I will make my decisions based on that, but these are technical decisions. It doesn’t change whether this person plays or that one plays.”

Artem Dovbyk's status is the biggest question surrounding Roma's starting XI at Hellas Verona on Sunday. It is the second game this week for the Giallorossi, who are aiming for back-to-back league wins for the first time since Ivan Jurić's first two games as manager at the end of September. All forecasts indicate that Dovbyk will actually start.

Jurić was also asked about the availability of Thursday's match-winner Paulo Dybala, who has struggled with injuries throughout his tenure at Roma.

“He did the most important thing, which was to get on the pitch and play good football. You have to win the game, train well, prepare and win. In our last game he played as a false 9, but in other games where he played alongside Dovbyk, such as against Athletic Club, he had more freedom than the others. He has a feel for the space and the game, which is why we give it to him.”

Jurić made no indication that Dybala habit Start on Sunday in Veneto. All predictions suggest that he will take his usual position and play alongside Dovbyk. However, who will play alongside Dybala remains a big question mark. Projections around the peninsula are split between Tomasso Baldanzi and Lorenzo Pellegrini.

Meanwhile, in midfield, Enzo Le Fée and Manu Koné appear ready to patrol the middle of the pitch for Roma. Angelińo is expected to start again in a back three with Gianluca Mancini and Evan Ndicka; One of Nicola Zalewski or Stephan El Shaarawy will cross them outside. We're leaning towards El Shaarawy after Jurić suggested that Zalewski had cramps in the last game.

“I think both El Shaarawy and Zalewski prefer to play on the left. They feel more comfortable on that flank, even though Zalewski did really well on the right against Dynamo Kyiv. We'll see how he gets on. He actually had cramps.”

ROMA (3-4-2-1): Svilar; Mancini, Ndicka, Angelino; Celik, Le Fée, Koné, El Shaarawy; Dybala, Baldanzi; Dovbyk.
