Fans call out Tom Brady and criticize officials for firing him from the Lions

Tom Brady and Kevin Burkhardt were guests for FOX's Week 9 broadcast of the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers. Midway through the second quarter, Lions safety Brian Branch was sent off when he hit Packers outside hitter Bo Melton helmet-to-helmet on an incomplete pass.

While Brady was talking about how something like this happens in football, the officials announced that Branch had been ejected, leading Brady to question the New York Replay Center's decision.

“I don’t like this call at all,” Brady said. “I mean, of course it's a penalty, but for me it has to be a serious intention in a game like this.”

It's a fairly harmless disagreement from Brady, but it's still a disagreement. Some might even view it as criticism or criticism, which as an NFL owner, as we all know, Brady is not allowed to do. Some were quick to point out that Brady was breaking the rules if he said anything at all.

Now, these aren't new rules, but they're still fresh in people's minds because Brady was just approved as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders and when that happened, a Bleacher Report tweet went viral listing his restrictions, which were originally reported back by ESPN in late August.

Brady might have questioned calls all season, but no one cared. Now that everyone has seen it in a helpful graphic on social media, people are looking for something wrong with Brady. The question is, will the NFL actually do something about it?
