Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Early Pickup for Week 10

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Early Pickup for Week 10

It's never too early to prepare for your next game and have the chance to strengthen your fantasy football lineups. Here are some options to consider for Week 10, when the Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, Las Vegas Raiders and Seattle Seahawks play byes.

Fear it, run from it – Taysom Hill is still returning to the waiver wire landscape.

After the Saints lost Chris Olave early to a scary setback in Week 9, the team needed their do-it-all weapon to advance. Hill did just that, scoring a rushing touchdown and accumulating 60 total yards.

The Saints starting the season 2-0 and picking up a ton of points is simply not the reality we have here today. With so many injuries at the receiver position, they have to be tricky to score points.

One of the first words that comes to mind when mentioning Hill is “tricky.” Add him if you're looking for touchdowns at the tight end position.

It's that time of season when fantasy football managers should be hiring quality backup running backs. Bonus points if these running backs already have value in their own right.

Enter: rookie RB, Ray Davis.

Davis made his presence felt in the passing game in Week 9, catching both scores for 70 yards, including a 63-yard touchdown. He also ran the ball four times for 20 yards.

This is simple: Davis shouldn't be available in that many leagues at this point in the fantasy football season. Go get him.

When the Titans traded DeAndre Hopkins to the Chiefs, a big hole opened up in Tennessee's passing game opposite Calvin Ridley. If the last two games are any indication, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine is the next man up.

Surprisingly, Westbrook-Ikhine recorded his fourth straight game with a receiving touchdown in Week 9, catching 5 of 6 targets for 50 yards.

Now, the Titans aren't exactly the Peyton-Manning Broncos with Mason Rudolph at the helm, but he has at least provided a stabilizing force that has given fantasy points to players like Ridley, Tony Pollard and, of course, Westbrook-Ikhine. NWI is officially fully on the Flex options list.
