The controversy surrounding the design of the Mac mini's power button is quite overblown

As regular readers of my Creative Bloq articles (hello both of you!) will know, even as an Apple fan, I'm occasionally confused by the company's design choices. The most infamous example is the Magic Mouse 2, with its charging port on the bottom – a design crime for which the company still refuses to pay. And it seems Apple intends to harness that design energy.

Among the many details of the new M4 Mac mini that Apple announced this week is the fact that the power button is located on the bottom of the device. Yes, the device that sits on a desk. Good thing this is the smallest, lightest Mac mini ever, because when you want to turn it on or off, you have to pick it up.
