“Dad: take it…”: Donald Trump reveals key Barron advice he received for the WH race and talks about his plans for dogs

Donald Trump began his final day of campaigning by declaring that he would win if his MAGA supporters voted. However, he also acknowledged that his hoarse voice was a problem and again defended his speaking style, which he calls “the weave.”

He told a crowd in North Carolina, “There’s nothing they can do if we get our vote.”

Trump talks about family advice he received

Trump spoke for 90 minutes despite the lack of time, covering a wide range of topics before ending his speech by revealing some family-friendly advice he received before the election, Daily Mail reported.

“Ivanka called me a while ago and says hello to everyone. She's great,” he said of his daughter, who once worked as his adviser but did not accompany him on the 2024 campaign.

Trump then spoke to Melania Trump about his youngest and only son, explaining, “And I have a husband who is at home with the First Lady.”

He called Barron, 18, a recent NYU graduate, “very smart” and gave him “good advice.”

“Dad: Take it easy now. Just take it easy, dad, okay? You don't have to go too much here. He gives me good things – he is very wise,” the former president said.

Trump has expressed hope but at times acknowledged the danger of failure.

“Hopefully everything goes well. We are groundbreaking. We just have to close it,” he explained, as several polls suggested a neck-and-neck race.

Trump declares that he loves dogs

In a campaign that featured more pet-related comments than any other, he once told the audience that he “loves dogs.”

Notably, Trump was the first president to live in the White House without a pet. “I love dogs. We love dogs,” he said.

He then deviated from the topic and talked about Lara Trump, his daughter-in-law. He mentioned that she loves dogs and other pets and would visit the practice. “And she made me do things for dogs that you wouldn't believe,” he explained.

“Dad, we have to make the cages bigger. “We need to get air conditioning,” Trump informed the crowd of what Lara had told him.
