Each county will vote on different candidates and issues, so there will be different ballots depending on where you vote on Election Day. It is important that you consider these before heading to your polling station. Finding your sample ballot in Ohio is fairly easy.

You can find your sample ballot on the Secretary of State's website by following these simple steps:

  1. Know the name of your county, find it on the Ohio map (or an alphabetical list) and click on it
  2. Enter your first and last name
  3. When your name appears, you will find “Sample Ballot” under “Quick Links” on the far right.
  4. Click “View Ballot”
  5. You can find the sample ballot paper for your district here

When do polls close in Ohio?

Polls in Ohio opened at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m. on Election Day. If you are in line when the polls close, stay in line so you can vote.
