Pittsburgh Steelers trade time, last minute help has arrived

Pittsburgh Steelers trade time, last minute help has arrived

PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh Steelers are in the market for a wide receiver trade and have a few names to keep an eye on as the deadline approaches. Things appear to be looking even better for Pittsburgh after Week 9, and their efforts haven't gone unnoticed – so it's very likely they'll have a new offensive weapon before the end of the week.

The Steelers have tried everything to land a wideout this season, but to no avail. But the few times they've gotten close makes everyone think they're shooting for the stars. Now the time has come and the Steelers appear to have a list of receivers they want to negotiate. Some of them are much larger than others.

The bye week only improved their chances, and the roster they currently have is great. There are some names that don't generate too much excitement, but there are other names that give the impression that this team is going to the Super Bowl after the trade. No one should expect them to settle down.

But do they only trade against wide receivers? There may be two more players that Pittsburgh can trade away to expand its package or make its future draft assets a little more attractive.

And Minkah Fitzpatrick? A Steelers insider suggests Pittsburgh is considering moving on from its All-Pro safety team. Maybe it makes sense, but the chances of it actually happening are slim. Unless they have to pay their quarterback $30 million a year.

Things are heating up for the Steelers and they don't seem to be slowing down until the deadline passes. As the hours pass, everyone waits for the same thing – to find out who Pittsburgh's next wide receiver is.
