How to watch vote counting in the 2024 races

Election day has come.

After months of anticipation, debate and campaigning, many of those who have not yet cast their votes will do so on Tuesday.

The first polls begin closing nationwide at 7 p.m. ET, meaning we could start seeing election results shortly after.

USA TODAY will provide updates on all top races across the country, including the race between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. Her battle for the White House has been relatively short, as Harris has only been at the top of the Democratic nominee list for just over three months, after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race.

Here you can follow who wins and find out more top news from the election.
