Election Day is here and all eyes are on the Electoral College map.

If you plan to vote in person, it's important to know where your polling place is and when it opens. Most states open their polls at 7 a.m. local time, but some start voting as early as 5 a.m. or as late as 10 a.m

This information all depends on which state you live in, and sometimes even your county or municipality. The closing time of your polling station may also depend on these factors.

For more information about voting and voter registration, visit USA TODAY's voter guide or visit Vote.gov and USA.gov, which is open through Election Day in some states.

USA TODAY will provide updates on all the top election races across the country, including the race between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris for 270 Electoral College votes. Her battle for the White House has been relatively short, as Harris has been at the top of the Democratic ticket for just over three months after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race.
