The two candidates have visited the battleground state repeatedly – Harris visited 12 times in 2024, including with Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, while Trump has appeared in the state 14 times this year.

Polls in Michigan close at 8:00 p.m. local time. Because some Upper Peninsula counties observe Central Time, the first results will be announced starting at 9:00 p.m. ET when these polls close.
