Live on “The View,” Sara Haines reaches out to turn off Joy Behar's phone

The only thing that can (almost) derail America's collective election victory? Another cyberattack from one of Joy Behar's notoriously disruptive digital devices The view.

Once again, the 82-year-old's tireless battle against inanimate objects reached the forefront of the Hot Topics chart when Behar's cell phone rang on perhaps the most important day of the year The viewis live political reporting.

After previous on-air battles with her phone and Siri — which Behar once interrupted on-air to give her directions to her seat at the table — Behar's iPhone bugged out during a discussion about political loyalties between couples during the heated 2024 election cycle to speak.

“I don't know, I wouldn't even let him give me the Heimlich maneuver, that's how little I feel about people,” Behar said of how she would feel if a partner revealed he was a Trump is a supporter. Then a noise rang through the show's airspace, prompting Sara Haines to take matters – and Behar's phone – into her own hands.

“I got it,” the emergency responder said. “I fixed it. I fixed it.”

Previous attempts to calm Behar's bitter war with her devices included a notable military maneuver by panelist Sunny Hostin, who once grabbed Behar's phone and pushed it backstage during a live broadcast as it attempted to hijack the show.

However, the most intense encounter between Behar and a non-breathing, non-living creature occurred in March 2022 when she attempted to sit on a swivel chair that gave way, causing her to fall under it live on set.

Behar's problems with various items aren't just limited to the Hot Topics table, however, as she once revealed that her apartment building's elevator once tried to kidnap her.

Still, there's nothing like Behar's heated arguments with those around her – like the Italian woman who called her a slut during a European vacation.
