Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison is facing a break, according to Ange Postecoglou.

Spurs face Galatasaray in the Europa League on Thursday but will be without the Brazilian after he sustained a hamstring injury in Spurs' 4-1 win over Aston Villa on Sunday.

Defender Cristian Romero will also miss the game due to injury, although his prognosis is more promising.

“Unfortunately Richarlison picked up the hamstring injury at the weekend so I'm still getting the final information but I think he'll be out for a while,” Postecoglou told reporters ahead of Thursday's game in Istanbul.

“Romero, I think it’s hopefully nothing too serious, so there’s still a chance for the weekend.”

German striker Timo Werner and 17-year-old Mikey Moore were both unused substitutes against Villa and neither player traveled to Turkey.

“Timo Werner had a little groin discomfort which is still there so he didn't travel and Mikey Moore caught a little virus yesterday so we left him at home too,” Postecoglou said.

“Everyone else who was fit should be available.”

Tottenham are in second place in the Europa League table with nine points after wins over Qarabag, Ferencvaros and AZ Alkmaar.
