Galatasaray vs Tottenham Hotspur: Europa League game time, live blog and online watching

It's a series of Thursday games for Tottenham Hotspur as the Spurs side travel to Turkey to face Galatasaray in their next Europa League game. The Lilywhites have won all of their European games so far this season and will be looking to maintain that perfect record, even if there is an absolute atmosphere at Istanbul's RAMS Park.

The Spurs will likely rotate heavily in this game; With Spurs sitting fairly high in the Europa League standings, there is little risk of elimination at this point, and a combination of injuries and much-needed rest for some tired players means the team could look very different. Some young players traveled with us and could be called up to the squad for this game.

Galatasaray, on the other hand, will be looking to make an impression against an English giant. Expect a strong line-up, with some big names like Mauro Icardi and Victor Osimhen joining The Lion in somewhat bizarre circumstances in the summer. There's also another reunion with a former Spurs player, with Davinson Sanchez at the heart of Galatasaray's defence.

This should be fun.

Adjust thread rules

The match thread rules are the same as always. All visitors who come here for the first time are warmly welcome! We're glad you're here! Wipe your feet, mind the gap, and be sure to check out the other pages of this excellent site. However, while you're here, we have a few rules and regulations:

  • Absolutely no links to illegal streams. They are evil and get us into trouble. Violators will be warned or banned.
  • We have rules against “relentless negativity.” Nobody likes a negative Nancy. Don't be knee-jerk and post outlandish or hurtful things just because you're frustrated.
  • In this sense, direct insults to players or match officials are not permitted. It's okay to say “Wow, that was a really bad call,” but it's NOT okay to excessively berate said officer over a call you didn't like.
  • Treat other people in the match thread the way you would want someone else to treat your grandmother. Be nice. This is a community of fans, not an unmoderated message board.
  • NO SPIDERS!
  • Although we don't have a policy against profanity, please try to keep the naughty words at bay. In addition, statements that are sexist, racist, transphobic or homophobic in nature will be immediately deleted and you will be blocked immediately. This is an open, supportive community.

Have fun and COYS!
