Ryan Murphy's Non-American Horror Story horror series: Grotesquerie

FX's grotesque revolves around a series of heinous crimes that have unsettled a small community. Detective Lois Tryon (Niecy Nash Betts) feels like these crimes are eerily personal, as if someone – or something – is mocking them. At home, Lois struggles with a strained relationship with her daughter, a husband in long-term hospital care, and her own inner demons. With no clues and unsure where to turn, she enlists the help of Sister Megan (Micaela Diamond), a nun and journalist at the Catholic guardian. With her own difficult past, Sister Megan has seen the worst of humanity, but still believes in her ability to do good. Lois, on the other hand, fears that the world is succumbing to evil. As Lois and Sister Megan piece together clues, they find themselves caught in a sinister web that seems to raise more questions than answers.

The Emmy winner plays the lead role in the ten-episode season Niecy Nash Betts as Detective Lois Tryon, Emmy Award winner Courtney B. Vance as Marshall Tryon, Emmy Award nominee Lesley Manville as Nurse Redd, Tony Award nominee Micaela Diamond as Sister Megan, Nicholas Alexander Chavez as Father Charlie, Raven Goodwin as Merritt Tryon, and Travis Kelce in a role that is still unclear.

“I don’t know what started. I can't say exactly. But now it's different I saw today that they sent psychiatrists for everyone who worked at this crime scene.
