McDonald's announces collaboration with Kai Cenat

McDonald's and Kai Cenat apparently have something big in the works. On Wednesday (October 2), the fast food chain posted a picture of the internet sensation's room with the caption, “Chat coming soon October 10th.”

The exact details of what they're cooking have yet to be revealed, but the brand's signature brown bag hinted, “A special item is coming to a conversation near you.” The order itself included a medium Sprite, fries, and “not not a Big Mac. Meanwhile, the receipt was completed with “Thank you for your order!” W is in the chat!”

“We had a collaboration between Kai Cenat and McDonald's before GTA 6,” reads a reply in the comments section with over 2,000 likes. Someone else wrote, with laughing emojis: “(It's) strange how we all know (whose) room this is.”

“The Kai Cenat food,” one person speculated, while another urged, “(We) better get a Kai Cenat action figure.”

McDonald's practically started the whole celebrity food trend with its collaboration with Travis Scott in 2020, just months after the global COVID pandemic began. Since then, the brand has signed up artists like Offset and Cardi B, Saweetie and Mariah Carey, as well as international talent like BTS and J Balvin.

Lil Yachty also partnered with the restaurant company, despite not receiving his own food. In 2023, the “One Night” rapper remixed the 1989 classic “Menu Song” along with a commercial.

“Going from working at McDonald's in Atlanta to collaborating on 'Menu Song (Remix)' with McDonald's Canada is a wild, full-circle moment that brings back memories and reminds us that anything can happen in life,” he said in a press release.

Earlier this week, Cenat hosted the semifinal game of its newly formed Little Basketball Association (LBA). Yachty was among the many high-profile names in attendance.
