Andres Ambühl in front of a historic milestone

Andres Ambühl in front of a historic milestone

On Thursday, October 10, 2024, a very special evening awaits us at the Davos Ice Stadium: Our captain Andres Ambühl will probably make Swiss ice hockey history (again). If everything goes as expected, Ambühl will play his 1270th NL game in the home game against SC Bern, thus breaking Beat “Bidu” Gerber’s existing record (1269 games).

Assuming Andres Ambühl is in the lineup for the next two championship games next weekend against Friborg and the ZSC Lions, “Büehli” will play his 1,270th league game on Thursday, October 10, 2024, replacing Beat Gerber as the record player. According to the official National League figures, Gerber has played 1,269 championship games. Ambühl will equalize this value in the home game on Sunday against the ZSC Lions.

The date could hardly be right
I'm on October 10th. Our number 10 reaches this incredible milestone. The game plan also provides for another suitable coincidence. That evening the HCD meets SC Bern, the former team of the current record holder Beat Gerber. Secure your tickets now to be part of this historic moment and, above all, to experience it where it will give you goosebumps – in the Davos ice stadium, “Büehli’s” home.

Honor before the game and a must-have in the fan shop
Before the game, the Hockey Club Davos and the National League will honor Andres Ambühl. Fans can also expect a surprise in the fan shop to properly celebrate this special record, which will probably last for an eternity.
We are looking forward to a worthy setting this Thursday evening in the Davos ice stadium.

The ceremony is scheduled for 7:55 p.m., with the game starting at 8:00 p.m.
