The Seahawks are getting healthier ahead of their Week 5 game against the Giants

On the two players listed as questionable, Mafe and Love, Macdonald said: “It was a good week of training for both boys. They're both working on their individual things, and that's positive. It's all good, the boys haven't had a setback, so it's just a question of when it's best for them to come back.

Love, who was named captain for this week's game against his former team, was more explicit, saying: “I'm feeling good and ready to go.”

When asked if that meant he planned to play on Sunday, Love replied: “Yes, I plan to play.”

Also out this week will be Cameron Young, who was scheduled to return to training this week after opening the season on the physically unable to perform list. Although Young returned to practice this week, he is not ready to play and will not be added to the active roster yet.

“Cam looks really good, great to see him out there,” Macdonald said. “I know he's racking his brains, he's been at it for a minute. He's been working on the side the whole time, but now he's back with the boys, he's got the helmet on and is doing all the reps, so I'm happy for him, happy for the opportunity. That obviously won't happen this week, but if and when he does, he'll be ready to rock.
