Vice President Kamala Harris has been trolled on social media for a comment about Israel and saying she “makes no sense at all” in a new viral clip.

Harris gave a rare sit-down interview on CBS' “60 Minutes” on Sunday, in which Bill Whitaker asked whether the U.S. had any “influence” on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as the war against Hamas continued. Monday marks one year since the brutal terrorist attack on Israel that sparked the war in Gaza.

“The aid we gave to Israel enabled Israel to defend itself against 200 ballistic missiles designed solely to attack Israelis and the Israeli people. And when we think about the threat that Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran pose, I think it is.” “It is without question our imperative to do everything in our power to ensure that Israel can defend itself against attacks of this kind Harris replied.

She continued: “The work we are now doing diplomatically with the leadership of Israel is a continuing effort to clarify our principles, which include the need for humanitarian assistance, the need to end this war, the need to make a deal, We would release the hostages and bring about a ceasefire, and we will not stop putting that pressure on Israel and the region, including Arab leaders.

BILL MAHER HURT KAMALA HARRIS BECAUSE SHE WAS 'FULLY' TO ISRAEL, MIDDLE EAST: 'Just shut up'

The lengthy “word salad” and her inability to commit to Israel as an ally shocked and frustrated several X users after the clip premiered.

“When Kamala is asked about Israel, it makes no sense at all. Kamala is like a running team that is behind and can't throw the ball. After hiding her for months, they are now panicking and conducting interviews everywhere. But this is possible to get more behind them,” wrote Outkick founder Clay Travis, a supporter of former President Trump.

Former ESPN anchor Sage Steele asked, “Someone please interpret what she just said here…”

“People talk like that when they have absolutely nothing of substance to say because they know next to nothing about the subject at hand,” said John Daniel Davidson, executive editor of the Federalist.

“Shocking,” exclaimed Fox News anchor Mark Levin.

Comedian Tim Young commented: “60 Minutes asked Kamala if Netanyahu even listens to us after we gave Israel weapons and money.” Kamala responds with a bunch of word salad. It would be easier if she just said that no world leader respects her or listens to her even after we distribute money.

“This is the real Kamala. And she is no friend of Israel,” wrote California Rep. Darrell Issa.

New York Rep. Elise Stefanik wrote: “Israel is destroying Iran-backed terrorists across the Middle East and making the world safer for Israel and the United States, yet Kamala Harris refuses to say that Prime Minister Netanyahu is a strong ally of America.” Kamala Harris is unfit to be President of the United States.

During the interview, Harris dodged repeated questions from Whitaker about her support for Israel.

Whitaker asked: “Do we have a really close ally in Prime Minister Netanyahu?”

“I think, with all due respect, the better question is whether we have an important alliance between the American people and the Israeli people, and the answer to that question is yes,” Harris replied.

Harris was also criticized last month for offering scant information on whether she would change her policy toward Israel as president.

“We have to get this deal done, and we have to do it now,” she said in response to a question from the National Association of Black Journalists, referring to the repatriation of hostages. “And that is my position and that is my policy.”
