Eric Roberts gives marriage advice to “DWTS” co-stars Britt Stewart and Daniel Durant

Some of the advice was NSFD (Not Safe for Disney).

Britt Stewart may be the one teaching Eric Roberts how to ballroom dance — but he also has some lessons of his own to impart.

Stewart and her Season 31 partner, actor Daniel Durant, surprised fans Dancing with the stars by announcing their engagement last December. The duo will tie the knot next year and Roberts, who has been married to Eliza Garrett for 32 years, gave Stewart some advice on the key to a successful marriage.

While Roberts initially laughed at co-host Julianne Hough's suggestion that he might offer some insight to Stewart, the ballroom pro said she received plenty of wisdom from her partner of 68 years. Maybe also a few tips for the bedroom?

“We're at Disney, so I'm not going to say his full advice,” Stewart joked. “But honesty is one thing, and I have to say that getting engaged, getting married, and then witnessing a 32-year marriage every day comes full circle.”

For their number at Monday's Soul Train Night, the duo danced a foxtrot to Al Green's “Let's Stay Together,” and Roberts dedicated the dance to his wife, who was in attendance. Both judge Derek Hough and guest judge Rosie Perez praised Roberts for the sweet emotion of such dedication.

In response to her comments, Roberts joked: “Well, I paid him a lot of money for that. No, it was very moving, especially (from) Rosie because I know her and love her. She’s really nice.”

Stewart and Durant competed together in season 31 Dancing with the stars in fall 2022, but the duo emphasized that their romance only began after the competition ended. “I think in that moment we realized how we felt about each other,” Durant previously said of realizing his feelings after his exit. “It was more than just friends, and of course we connected and started dating after that.”

The pair finished fifth in their season and narrowly missed out on making it to the season finale. They made their relationship public on Valentine's Day 2023. Durant, who is deaf, is best known for his role in the Academy Award winner for Best Picture CODA. He is currently starring in Deaf West's revival of Green Day's. American idiot in Los Angeles.

Roberts and Stewart received a score of 24 from the judges on Monday, which will be combined with the rating from Tuesday night's Hair Metal Night.
