A few weeks before taking over the cargo, they were in the capital of Mexico

The alcalde in a capital city of Mexico worked for a week after accepting the cargo and informing the authorities.

Alejandro Arcos was convicted Monday as a police officer in Chilpancingo, a city that was violent when a group of drug traffickers shut down a rally, shot down a vehicle and resumed policing in 2023 to initiate the arrest of suspects.

Chilpancingo is the capital of the state of Guerrero, located in Acapulco.

The state broadcaster's tax return confirmed in a statement that Arcos had received approval, but did not provide any details.

Alejandro Moreno, national leader of the Partido Revolucionario Institucional or PRI, lamented the Arcos assembly, saying that the secretary appointed by the government also served in the assembly three days earlier.

“Levaban menos de una semana en el cargo,” Moreno wrote in his speeches. “It is youthful and honest public servants who drive the progress of their community.”

Chilpancingo has been in a territorial civil war scenario for a long time between the Ardillos and Tlacos drug gangs. The conflict has consisted of terrible experiments and several scandals in recent years.

A former alcaldesa was captured in a video apparently seen reuniting with readers of one of the bandas in a restaurant. She was subsequently expelled from her party.

In July 2023, federal officials said that a celebratory rally was held in Chilpancingo for some people in Chilpancingo, organized by the Ardillo police, to report the liberation of two people arrested from drug and weapons positions.

The rallies blocked all traffic on the highway between Mexico City and Acapulco for two days, they went to the security police and positioned themselves in the position of a car blinded by the police, which they were supposed to use to close the door to the puertas open edificio de la legislatura estatal.

The demonstrators have been with the State Police and the National Guard for 10 years, as three civil servants of the state and federal authorities, and the Mantuviers are rehenesified to be able to meet their demands before liberalization.
