Breakers could rip off the back door cover compared to Thunder

After Wednesday's loss to the Houston Rockets, the Oklahoma City Thunder were down 1-1 in the preseason, although the team's regulars built a 13-point lead at halftime that the OKC Thunder were unable to maintain in the second half.

The Thunder did not play their starters or Isaiah Hartenstein in the second half, while the Rockets kept their starters in the game until the third quarter. However, this second half will likely provide a taste of what the Oklahoma City Thunder will look like against the New Zealand Breakerrs on Thursday in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Not only is this the second night in a row, it's also the third game in four nights for the Thunder, and bench boss Mark Daigneault has already revealed that Oklahoma City will sit out many – if not all – of its starters in this exhibition tilt.

Still, FanDuel concluded that the Thunder were ahead by 35.5 points. So far, the Breakers have been eliminated on their tour of the states but have yet to crack 90 points against an NBA team. The Oklahoma City Thunder are so deep and talented that they shouldn't be in danger of losing to the Breakers in this game.

However, winning by more than 35 points is a tall order in order to maintain dominance in the final minutes of this duel, where you can be sure that Oklahoma City has ten contracts on the field.

The Thunder will win and should win comfortably, but the Breakers will be able to create a backdoor defense in this game against Oklahoma City.

The bet: New Zealand +35.5

The record: 1-1
