Buccaneers vs. Saints Inactive Report

Buccaneers vs. Saints Inactive Report

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will get a key player back for each of their ranks in Week 6 against the New Orleans Saints. Defensive lineman Calijah Kancey will make his debut in 2024 after missing the first five games with a calf injury, while right tackle Luke Goedeke returns after a four-week layoff with a concussion.

Additionally, the Buccaneers' starting safety duo will be intact for the first time since week one. All-Pro Antoine Winfield Jr. is back in action after missing the last four games with a foot injury, and running mate Jordan Whitehead is active despite dealing with a groin injury during the week.

Third-year running back Rachaad White will miss a game for the first time in his career as he is inactive with a hamstring injury. Rookie Bucky Irving will likely take the lead role in the backfield, supported by Sean Tucker and rookie DJ Williams, who was called up from the practice squad on Saturday.

The Buccaneers and Saints submitted their inactive lists at 11:30 a.m. ET on Sunday, 90 minutes before the scheduled kickoff of their game at the Superdome. The Buccaneers entered the weekend with 52 players on their active roster but now have 54 available for Sunday's game after signing Williams and wide receiver Ryan Miller from the practice squad on Saturday. That meant the Bucs had to name six inactive players to reach the gameday limit of 48. The Saints elevated safety Johnathan Abram and guard Chris Reed from their practice squad and had to name seven inactive players.
