More than 210,000 people lost power due to tornadoes on the Treasure Coast. Almost 20,000 are still outside.

Nearly 20,000 customers on the Treasure Coast are still without power Sunday afternoon, four days after Hurricane Milton and its tornadoes struck the area.

According to the latest estimates released Saturday by Florida Power & Light Co., it could take until the end of the day Tuesday to get power back to more than 95% of customers in Indian River County. FPL says 95% of Martin County customers are expected to be back by the end of Sunday and St. Lucie County by the end of Monday.

Meanwhile, in Fort Pierce, where utility service is provided by the city's Fort Pierce Utilities Authority, nearly all customers had power as of Sunday afternoon, with the number of outages similar to pre-storm baseline levels.

In total, more than 210,000 customers in FPL and FPUA lost power during the storm.

Here's a closer look at the Treasure Coast outages as of 2:30 p.m. Sunday:

Indian River County

In Indian River County, 11,830 customers were without power as of 2:30 p.m., according to FPL. That's the highest number among the three counties on the Treasure Coast.

St Lucie County

In Fort Pierce, only three customers were without power as of 2:30 p.m., according to the FPUA.

Across the rest of St. Lucie County, 4,660 customers were without power as of 2:30 p.m., according to FPL.

FPL said 81,150 customers in St. Lucie County experienced outages due to the storms. According to FPL, 76,490 customers in St. Lucie County had power restored as of 2:30 p.m

Martin County

In Martin County, 2,670 customers were without power as of 2:30 p.m., according to FPL.
