Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry led the Ravens to a big win against local rivals Commanders

In the middle of Washington's road game in Baltimore, broadcaster Tony Romo explained that the game featured two MVPs – Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, a two-time Most Valuable Player, and fellow Commanders Jayden Daniels, whom Romo described as a future winner.

Daniels, the Commanders' rookie sensation, threw for 269 yards with two touchdowns and no turnovers on Sunday, continuing one of the most productive career starts by a rookie quarterback in history. He could very well be the future of the league. But in the present, it was Jackson, aided by running back Derrick Henry, who had enough to win one of the most anticipated games of the season 30-23.

Jackson threw for 323 yards with one touchdown and one interception, with nearly half of his completions going to Zay Flowers (nine catches, 132 yards). Henry added 132 yards and two touchdowns to help Baltimore improve to 4-2 and win four straight.

The loss was Washington (4-2)'s first since Week 1. Things began to unravel for the Commanders in the second quarter as they missed a field goal before halftime and more gaps began to form in their defense after beating Baltimore were limited to just three points in the first quarter.

The Commanders' defense was among the worst in the league and allowed Baltimore 14 points in the second quarter and ten more in the third quarter, increasing the Ravens' lead to as much as 27-13 early in the fourth quarter. Daniels played from the back and led two shots on goal in the fourth quarter. But it just wasn't enough to catch up with Baltimore.
