Tom Brady was honest about Dak Prescott's ugly interception against the Lions

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott wasted no time in endearing himself to Detroit Lions fans in the two teams' highly anticipated game on Sunday at AT&T Stadium.

Late in the first quarter, Prescott looked for CeeDee Lamb in the end zone, but his pass was deftly blocked by Lions defensive back Brian Branch.

FOX announcer Tom Brady was on hand for the play and provided his expert analysis on Prescott's early interception.

“Partly a bad decision and partly just a physical mistake of not actually hitting the ball,” Brady said. “Dak thinks he has CeeDee open at the corner, which he does at first… Branch puts Tolbert on the flat, but since he has width he can see that and drop back out under the corner route. That’s what defenders are taught.”

“Really great interception, I'm sure Dak didn't even see it when he released the ball,” Brady added.

In the last game against the Lions, Prescott rushed for 345 yards and two touchdowns in a 20-19 win. He has a more difficult start on Sunday.
