Ranking all four of Aaron Rodgers' Hail Mary touchdown passes throughout his career

Aaron Rodgers has a lot of hardware to his name over the course of his NFL career: 10 Pro Bowls, four MVP awards and a Super Bowl ring, to name a few. But he has also emerged as perhaps the greatest Hail Mary threat in NFL history.

Rodgers did it again Monday night in the New York Jets' 23-20 loss to the Buffalo Bills at MetLife Stadium, saying a prayer before halftime that was answered by Allen Lazard's 52-yard touchdown grab. It was the fourth Hail Mary of his career and his first since 2017.

Whether it's due to luck, great talent or a combination of both, Rodgers is the NFL's undisputed Hail Mary king. So without further ado, let's rank all four of his dramatic touchdown highs:

The Packers' offense couldn't get much going in the 2017 Wild Card Round matchup against the New York Giants – until the last play of the first half.

With six seconds left in the second quarter, Rodgers stood a few feet behind midfield and threw a Hail Mary pass. It inexplicably missed the large pile of bodies in the end zone and ended up in the hands of Randall Cobb, who scored a two-foot inbounds for the last-second touchdown.

Green Bay went into halftime with a 14-6 lead and ultimately defeated the Giants 38-13 to advance to the divisional round.

Rodgers' fourth career Hail Mary touchdown pass was his first in a Jets uniform.

The Jets began possession from their own 30-yard line with 21 seconds left in the first half and advanced the ball to the 48-yard line with two quick passes. With eight seconds left, Rodgers threw a classic “Hail Mary” pass into the end zone, and Lazard somehow made it.

Touchdown, JETS.

However, New York couldn't take advantage of Rodgers' magic and lost 23-20 to the Bills.

Midway through the third quarter of a Week 10 game, the Packers trailed the Detroit Lions 20-0. Rodgers led the comeback at Ford Field, cutting Detroit's lead to two points with just three minutes to play.

With six seconds left in the fourth quarter, Rodgers and the Packers had the ball on their own 39-yard line. Rodgers dodged the pressure and threw a pass to a group of Packers and Lions in the end zone. Tight end Richard Rodgers scored a game-winning touchdown, silencing thousands of stunned Lions fans in Detroit.

“This game is obviously one of the greatest joys on the field that we have had together as a team and personally,” Aaron Rodgers said Sports Illustrated Bill Huber in 2020.

Undoubtedly, the most dramatic “Hail Mary” pass thrown by Rodgers occurred in the final seconds of a divisional round game against the Arizona Cardinals in 2016.

Trailing 20-13 and with five seconds left to play for the season, Rodgers was chased out of the pocket by several Cardinals pass rushers. Without a quick glance at the end zone, Rodgers threw a pass high into the air that looked like it was going to land near two defenders.

But Green Bay receiver Jeff Janis appeared out of nowhere and scored an improbable, game-winning 41-yard touchdown.

Unfortunately for Rodgers, the Packers lost 26-20 in overtime on a Larry Fitzgerald touchdown.
