Andrew Garfield has some thoughts on dating in Hollywood after years of high-profile relationships.

The 41-year-old actor performed Amelia Dimoldenbergis viral Date at the chicken shop Interview series on Friday, October 18, in which he asked the presenter if she thought she could actually find “the right guy” for her on the show.

“Yes. Isn't it?” She replied, adding, “But isn't it like meeting someone at work, except I turned (my work) into a date?”

The 30-year-old Dimoldenberg turned the tables on Garfield by bringing up his workplace, which is the entertainment industry. “Yes, exactly. And how many of these relationships work?” he asked.

Dimoldenberg pressed Garfield to tell her the answer, to which he replied, “I mean, it's usually kind of a flash in the pan.”

Throughout his career, Garfield has been romantically linked to several famous faces, including actresses like Shannon Woodward, Susie Abromeit And Aisling Beato the singer Rita Ora and model Alyssa Miller. One of his most prominent public relationships was with Emma Stonewhom he met while making love in 2012 The Amazing Spider-Man.

Us weekly confirmed the co-stars were officially dating in 2011, and the couple starred in 2014 The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The following year, Garfield and Stone, 35, briefly reunited after taking a break from their romance before calling it quits for good in October 2015.

“I think there's something going on,” she asked the Oscar nominee, who responded with a question of his own. “Do you actually believe this, or is this for the (cameras)? Do you think we would actually date if this wasn't here? Do you think that sucks, the fact that we could have actually dated at some point? Maybe,” he said. “Take out all the practicalities and logic. I actually think we probably could have done without all of this.”

Later in their conversation, Garfield said he thought the two would have “a really nice time” hanging out together off camera. “I think we would just enjoy each other's company.” However, Dimoldenberg ended things by saying, “I think we should be friends.”

After expressing regret over friend-zoning Garfield, the host admitted that she doesn't know what she's looking for when it comes to a relationship. Garfield concluded the discussion with a suggestion.

“I feel like this should be a practice round,” he said. “I think we should actually do it again, and do it better. This was supposed to be something like a rehearsal.”
