The CBS hit “Tracker” is coming to the capital region

Here on CBS6 there's an all-new episode of the hit CBS show “Tracker” tonight, and a Capital Region community is being embraced in a very unique way.

Autocamp in the Catskills, hosting a CBS Tracker viewing party with the full Airstream experience, Tracker style:

“Now that we've all seen the Tracker and it's so exciting and it's got a stream of air swirling around it, it was the perfect collaboration,” said Cathy Johnson, general manager of AutoCamp

At the Tracker Takeover, AutoCamp had airstreams decked out with CBS Tracker stickers, filled with Tracker merchandise, set up a screen, and had a Tracker letter scavenger hunt

I'm looking forward to everything. It's so much fun and I love being here. This property is amazing. “AutoCamp does an excellent job of combining the comforts of home and nature,” said Cathy Johnson, Autocamp Managing Director

Bringing the widely-watched show to upstate New York is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Auto Camp CEO Cathy Johnson

“They will all be in our amphitheater in the second season, which is beautiful, and everything is embedded in nature and it is beautiful here at the moment. There are large tracker letters throughout the warehouses and throughout the property. They're going to have airflows and they've got goodies in there, they're going to get AutoCamp merch and Tracker merch,” Johnson said.

Mike Benson, president and chief marketing officer at CBS, told CBS6 in a statement about the partnership

“We were eager to create a premium outdoor tracker adventure to celebrate the return of CBS' highly anticipated sophomore drama, and we're accomplishing that – and more – with our car camp partnership in upscale Joshua Tree and Catskills locations.”

Johnson hopes an event like this can happen again in the future.
