The Cardinals should go with TE Trey McBride vs. Chargers in Week 7

Instead of falling into one Panic, The Arizona Cardinals should rely on tight end Trey McBride to get their offense back on track Monday night against the LA Chargers.

The Chargers may find themselves at the line of scrimmage in hopes of stopping running back James Conner, so quarterback Kyler Murray may have to soften their man coverage with the intermediate passing attack.

Murray can look to McBride on three-step drops to keep the Cardinals' offense short and long-range, or use McBride's size to his advantage in the red zone.

McBride enters Week 7 with 28 catches on 38 targets and 271 receiving yards. His reliability has so far been undisputed.

Even if McBride doesn't receive a large number of targets, his ability to soften up the Chargers' linebackers and safeties with targeted plays can open up running lanes out of the backfield for Conner.

If the Cardinals can set the tone at the line of scrimmage, they will give themselves a good chance to win this game at home.
