Mark's colleagues are missing from the teaser for the second season of Severance

It's really happening, people. After almost three years, we finally got concrete proof of this Severance pay Season two is something we can actually see with all of our memories, and not a massive lie made up by Lumon (or…). Severance pay“s true home, Apple TV+) to help us stay productive while we wait. This fact alone requires a good old model Music-dance experiencedon't you think? This author chooses the maracas.

But while we may be celebrating this return to the office, Mark S. (Adam Scott) certainly isn't. After his Innie's daring escape in last season's finale, he's back in the Lumon underworld, but something is very, very wrong. His fired employees and co-conspirators – Dylan (Zach Cherry), Irving (John Turturro) and Helly (Britt Lower) – are nowhere to be seen. Instead, they were replaced by three new faces, played by Alia Shawkat, Bob Balaban and Stefano Carannante. “Who are you?” Mark asks, but doesn't even get an answer before Mr. Milchick (Tramell Tillman) walks in with his usual overly cheerful grin. “Welcome back, Mark S. It's been a minute,” he says while holding the scariest balloons (all with Mark's face on them) we've seen since Pennywise's red balloon It.



But the teaser doesn't tell us much more Severance pay never gave up his cards so easily. We know that Lower, Turturro and Cherry will be back at some point, along with season one co-stars Jen Tullock, Michael Chernus, Dichen Lachman, Christopher Walken, Patricia Arquette and Sarah Bock.

The series was created, written and executive produced by Dan Erickson. Ben Stiller, who directed five episodes this season, also serves as EP. The first episode of the 10-episode season will premiere on Apple TV+ on January 17th, with new episodes every Friday until March 21st.
