No. 8 Oregon football tight end Terrance Ferguson is doing well after leaving the UCLA game due to injury

PASADENA, Calif. (AP) — Oregon tight end Terrance Ferguson suffered an apparent head injury in the first half of Saturday's game against UCLA and did not return for what Dan Lanning called a precautionary measure.

Ferguson was the intended target on a pass over the middle from Dillon Gabriel and was hit by UCLA safety Bryan Addison, tying the game with 3:17 left in the first half. The Ducks senior left the field alone, went to the locker room and did not return to the UO sideline in the second half.

“I think Terrance will be good,” Lanning said. “From our point of view, it’s just a precautionary measure. But he’s fine.”

Ferguson, who had an 18-yard catch to start the half, has 14 catches for 177 yards this season.
