Early voting begins in New Jersey. Where can I vote?

It's time to go to the polls, New Jersey.

Registered voters can cast their votes in person starting Saturday, October 26th.

“This new option allows registered voters to cast their vote in person using a voting machine during the designated voting period prior to Election Day,” the state said. “You can now personally vote when it’s most convenient for your schedule.”

The nine-day early voting season runs through Sunday, November 3rd.

Polling stations are open on weekdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m

No appointment is required and accommodations will be made for voters with disabilities, the state said.

There are early in-person voting locations in every county, but it's important to keep in mind that they may not be the same location where you normally cast your vote on Election Day.

To find your early voting location, visit VOTE.NJ.GOV.

If you originally planned to vote by mail but now want to vote in person, you have the option to cast a provisional in-person vote during early voting or on Election Day.

You cannot bring your mail-in ballot to your early voting site, the state said. Instead, drop it off in a secure ballot drop box or drop it off at your county's board of elections office by 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, Election Day.

You can also mail it, but it must be postmarked by 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5th and received by your county board of elections on or before Monday, November 11th.
