Sources – Jaguars WR Christian Kirk broke his collarbone

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Christian Kirk is expected to miss the remainder of the season with a broken collarbone, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Kirk was injured early in the fourth quarter of the Jaguars' 30-27 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday at EverBank Stadium when he landed on his left shoulder while attempting to intercept a deep pass from Trevor Lawrence. The receiver left the field with his left arm supported and was wearing a sling after the game.

He has 27 catches for 379 yards and a touchdown and averaged a career-best 14 yards per catch. Kirk is in the third year of a four-year, $72 million ($37 million guaranteed) contract signed in March 2022 and will make $14.5 million this season. It is the second year in a row that his season has been cut short due to injury. He missed the final five games of 2023 with a groin injury.

Kirk caught 168 passes for 2,274 yards and 12 touchdowns in his two-plus seasons with the Jaguars. That includes 84 passes for 1,108 yards and eight touchdowns — all career highs — in 2022.
