ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WBAY) – Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are both focused on Wednesday in Wisconsin.

Both are holding rallies across our state to win votes, and both are bringing in some big names to mobilize voters.

Former Packers quarterback Brett Favre was one of the featured guest speakers at Trump's rally at the Resch Center near Lambeau Field on Wednesday night.

For people with an invitation, entry opens at 2 p.m. Trump is expected to speak around 6 p.m.

Before Trump spoke at the Resch Center, he climbed into the passenger seat of a garbage truck.

Trump posed for photos while wearing a neon orange and yellow vest and sitting in the passenger seat of a garbage truck decorated with American flags and campaign signs.

“How do you like my garbage truck?” Trump said as he answered questions from reporters.

“Joe Biden should be ashamed of himself if he even knows what he’s doing,” Trump said, referencing a comment Biden had previously made.

The controversy began Tuesday — the same time Harris was speaking near the White House — when Biden attended a campaign call by the Hispanic advocacy group Voto Latino. Biden took the opportunity to criticize Sunday's rally at Madison Square Garden, where a comedian called Puerto Rico a “floating island of trash.”

“The only trash I see out there is his supporters. “His demonization of Latinos is irresponsible and un-American,” Biden said. “It’s completely contradictory to everything we’ve done, everything we’ve been.”

The White House rushed to explain that the president's comment about “garbage” was a reference to the rhetoric of Trump allies, not Trump's supporters themselves. Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Biden “does not view Trump supporters or anyone who supports Trump as trash.”

Our team spotted a pop-up Trump merchandise stand in Titletown.

The Democratic National Committee purchased two billboards to greet the former president on his way to the venue. Democrats said they wanted to remind Packers fans and voters of Trump's plans to give tax cuts to the rich. The billboards are located on Ashland Ave. and south of Lambeau Field.

Meanwhile, just a few hours away in Madison, Harris is hosting a rally and concert with the slogan “When We Vote, We Win.” Musical guests such as Mumford & Sons and Gracie Abrams will perform.

The Harris-Walz campaign says the goal is to use public figures to get young and non-traditional voters to the polls.

With just a few days until the election, Trump and Harris are making their closing arguments for your vote and the 10 electoral votes in Wisconsin that made the difference in 2016.

We expect to learn more about where voters stand a week before the election when a new poll from Marquette University Law School is released Wednesday afternoon.

Harris and Trump will both be back in our state on Friday with campaign events in Milwaukee.
