Rarely seen Mamiko Tanaka rocks her husband's “Ohtani” Dodgers outfit with Chelsea Freeman

The Los Angeles Dodgers traveled to the Bronx on October 28 for Game 3 of the World Series against the New York Yankees.

The Dodgers are on a hot streak after winning Games 1 and 2 at home in Los Angeles. However, there was cause for concern after Shohei Ohtani, their $700 million two-way player, left due to injury. As he slid to second base in the seventh inning of Game 2, the Japanese superstar partially separated his left shoulder.

Although it was unclear whether the 30-year-old would be ready to play on Monday night, Ohtani was able to avoid structural damage and suit up for action at Yankee Stadium. Ohtani's biggest fan, his wife Mamiko Tanaka, cheers him on in Game 3.

While Tanaka typically keeps a low profile and is rarely seen at games, the former Fujitsu Red Wave forward proudly posed for photos with her fellow Dodgers WAGs during the Fall Classic.

Tanaka rocked a custom Dodgers jacket with “Ohtani” written on the sleeve. Chelsea Freeman, the wife of Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman, wore a similar jacket and dark jeans, while Brianna Betts, the wife of outfielder Mookie Betts, looked dapper in black leather pants and a navy jacket.

Brianna shared the photo of the three women during the seventh inning when the Dodgers led 4-0. She captioned the post, “World Series Game 3! 💙🤍⚾️.”

If the Dodgers keep going, Los Angeles could successfully defeat the Yankees and win the World Series in Game 4 on Tuesday, October 29th.
