Kristi Noem challenges Mark Cuban after anti-Trump remark: 'Game on, buddy'

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem hit out at billionaire Mark Cuban on Thursday over a comment he made about women associated with former President Donald Trump.

Cuban told ABC's The view On Thursday, he said former President Trump was “intimidated” by strong women and even said the former president doesn't associate with women who fit that description.

“Donald Trump, you never see him around strong, intelligent women. It's simple, they are intimidating to him. He doesn’t like to be challenged by them,” Cuban said.

The remark sparked outrage among senior Republican women like Gov. Noem, who is supporting Trump in the upcoming presidential election. Governor Noem posted a video response to Cuba's statement on social media.

“Play on, buddy. I’ll take you to a debate or maybe even an arm wrestle any day,” said Governor Noem.

Cuban is a vocal supporter of Vice President Kamala Harris. The billionaire has made several media appearances recently, including on Thursday The viewpromotes her election campaign and criticizes Trump.

“I actually started supporting Donald and then I got to know him better,” Cuban told former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy in an interview in August. “I thought, 'He's great, he's not your typical Stepford candidate.' I thought that was positive.”

Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, R-N.Y., also criticized Cubans on social media Thursday, accusing the “left” of “insulting anyone who disagrees with them.”

“Strong, intelligent and independent women don’t need Mark Cuban or anyone else in Kamala’s camp to tell them how to think,” Rep. Malliotakis wrote in a social media post.

Cuban has stated in the past that he is politically independent and not a member of the Democratic Party.
