Garrett Wilson's touchdown grab was so incredible that the officials didn't even consider it in real time.

They threw the New York Jets receiver out of bounds, and it's hard to blame them. It seemed impossible that Wilson could have stayed in the field after his ridiculous one-handed catch.

But it counted. The Jets challenged and on replay, Wilson's play – which, to add to the greatness, came on third-and-19 – was ruled a touchdown and perhaps the NFL catch of the year.

The catch itself was wonderful. Wilson secured the ball with just one hand on his backhand. But then to have the presence of mind to put his foot on the ground and then get his shin out of bounds before his knee went out of bounds is indescribable.

It wasn't even Wilson's first one-handed touchdown of the day. When he made that big play in the fourth quarter, the Jets took a 14-10 lead, and both of their shots on goal were one-handed TD grabs by Wilson. He caught one in the third quarter on a pass over the middle and ran into the end zone.

Wilson is one of the most talented young receivers in the NFL. He helped his quarterback look good on Thursday.
