Aaron Rodgers says: “Today is about moving forward and embracing change”

Under Ulbrich, the Jets defense is No. 1 in yards/game (4.26), No. 1 in passing yards/game (4.88), No. 2 in yards/g (255.8) and No. 2 in sacks/pass attempts (12.86%). But the Jets are on a two-game losing streak as the offense has struggled in losses to the Broncos and Vikings.

In Sunday's 23-17 loss to Minnesota at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Rodgers was intercepted three times, including a pick-six by Vikings LB Andrew Van Ginkel. He had 57 dropbacks while the Jets averaged just 2.6 yards on their 14 rush attempts.

“The most important thing is that something has to change, even if it is just the smallest change. We have to take responsibility as players for what happened,” said Rodgers. “I think that's what you'll also notice when I play better on Sunday – that doesn't happen. And as someone who is very proud of his achievements, that was the main feeling for me yesterday.”

During that introductory press conference, Ulbrich said he would keep the coaching staff intact, although all options were on the table in terms of roles and responsibilities.

“There were some things that had to change regardless of what happened to Robert,” Rodgers said. “We just didn’t play consistent football on offense. And as we know, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. When you have a few games, and of course I didn't. “We play well in both cases, but we just don't play very efficiently. You have to adjust some things, change is part of our sport and I know there are a lot of things that have been floating around. But at this point Brick and I have spoken a few times and I agree with his decision on offense.

The Jets (2-3) will host the division-leading Bills (3-2) on Monday night in a monster matchup to start the season. With a win, the Green-Whites would move into a tie for first place.

“I think it's a good moment for all of us to reset mentally,” Rodgers said. “A lot of things are right in front of us, starting with this week, a division opponent, a chance to get to 3-3 and take the lead in the division. We still have 12 games left, it’s a long season.”

Rodgers, who completed 61% of his passes for 1,093 yards with 7 TDs and 4 INTs, is the focal point of an offense that ranks 27th in yards/g (286.6) and 25th in scoring (18.6 points). /G).

“I have to play better – I will,” he said. “We're getting behind Brick and there's going to be some changes along the way and that's the direction we're going to go. But we will stand behind Brick and we have a lot to offer. Yesterday was about remembering how hard it is, how hard this game is.

“And today is about moving forward and embracing the changes that are coming, the changes that have already been made, and sticking together. It's a time for us as players to embrace each other and find that faith within ourselves because that's the only one.” So we can instill faith in our fan base that they're behind in the right way suits us.”
