In post-Roe America, there have been a plethora of horrific stories about women being denied or delayed in receiving health care because of their state's abortion ban—and these stories hit people “like a bucket of cold water in the face,” Rachel Maddow tells Ali Velshi. Since the Supreme Court ruled Roe v. Wade repealed, abortion is a major campaign issue, but we may still not know how serious the issue actually is. “I don’t think it’s queryable,” Maddow says. “I don’t think people realize how much of an impact this is having on people’s understanding of what this is about.”
